    In-store purchases

    The SQDC does not refund purchases, regardless of the reason for returning the product. In addition, an invoice is required in order to exchange a product.

    If the product is defective, the SQDC will exchange any product sold in its stores for 14 days following purchase (certain conditions apply). Only products that are improperly dried, contain mould or exhibit a manufacturing defect are considered defective.


    To exchange a defective product:

    • The purchased product must be returned unopened and in its original container.
    • It will be exchanged for the same product.
      • If the same product is no longer available, an equivalent replacement product will be suggested. 

     It should be noted that products purchased at an SQDC store can be exchanged only at an SQDC store. See the Terms of Sale for In-store Purchases for more details about products purchased in stores.

    Certain conditions and exclusions apply and are subject to change without prior notice. The SQDC reserves the right to refuse to exchange products whose return it determines to be inappropriate.


    Online purchases

    Please note that the SQDC does not refund purchases, regardless of the reason for returning the product.

    In the event of a shipping error or defective product, SQDC.ca does let you exchange a product purchased online for 14 days following the date of delivery.

    Products purchased through the SQDC.ca website may not be returned at SQDC stores. We encourage you to contact the SQDC’s customer relations team to discuss any issues related to product delivery or to arrange for exchanging the product, if applicable.     Shipping error (wrong or missing product)

    We make every effort to provide a quality delivery service. However, if you find an error on receiving your parcel, please contact the SQDC’s customer relations team to arrange an exchange. Please note that the SQDC does not refund purchases.


    Missing product:

    • The missing product will be shipped to you.
    • If the product is no longer available, an equivalent replacement product will be offered. 

    Wrong product (delivered by mistake):

    • The wrong product must be returned unopened and in its original container.
    • It will be exchanged for the product actually ordered.
    • If the ordered product is no longer available, an equivalent replacement will be offered. 


    Defective product


    Only products will the following issues will be deemed defective:

    • improperly dried
    • contains mould
    • exhibits a manufacturing defect
    • delivered in damaged packaging.

    Products purchased through the SQDC.ca website may not be returned at SQDC stores. We encourage you to contact the SQDC’s customer relations team to arrange for exchanging defective products. Please note that the SQDC does not refund purchases.

    • It will be exchanged for the same product.

    Undelivered parcel

    In the rare cases where we are unable to complete delivery of a parcel due to an inconclusive customer age check, the SQDC will refund the entire amount paid less the delivery fee.

    No refund will be issued if the customer does not accept or pick up the parcel by the specified deadline.
